Pilot Pen Co. Ltd has change to Pilot Corporation.

Fure-fure mechanical pencil (lead can extend by shaking it) starts selling.

Namiki Manufacturing starts open branches and sales office in New York, London, Shanghai and Singapore. Maki-E fountain pens begin selling and exports to European and American markets.
